We are overwhelmingly proud of our carers especially this year for facing the pandemic head on in the community.
Our team have worked tirelessly during the pandemic, sourcing PPE from all over the country, helping ensure our staff, residents, and domiciliary clients stay safe.
Despite their already busy schedules, they worked in 1-2-1 time with our residents and held resident meetings on a regular basis.
We have continued to take the residents out for shopping and daily walks, ensuring they stay safe but still get some exercise and fresh air.
Indeed, keeping our residents’ spirits up during the pandemic has been our priority, we’ve even upgraded the communal area TV, installing Amazon Prime to give our residents a wider choice of feel-good movies.
Nothing has phased them, maintaining that all our most vulnerable, often those told to shield, were taken care of in the most professional manner and we want to take this opportunity to thank all our fantastic carers.
Preparations are under way so we can reach our goal of getting all staff and residents vaccinated. This is a mammoth task but very important that all information is gathered and delivered so all our staff and residents can get back to some form of normality.
