It’s OK to ask for help

Accepting you need help can be difficult, pride can get in the way, we can often resist help, when help is exactly what we need.

As a relative it can be a very tricky subject to address:

• “I don’t need help!”
• “I don’t want shipping off to a care home”

Try not to see it as dumping a loved one off into someone else’s care, you’re extending your family and joining with ours!

We engage with our clients, helping them to understand that what we offer is a positive step and not something they should be embarrassed about or indeed too proud to accept.

We take pride in providing a measured service, not taking over or overwhelming the client, but providing them with a care and support package that’s right for them.
